I’m 225 chubby and hitting gym pretty hard. Should I just keep bulking muscle until a little before spring or start the cut now?

Try to eat a nutritionally balanced 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight with enough calories to meet your basal metabolic rate for your desired weight, that ratio of protein intake to bodyweight will help with muscle growth and the calorie deficit will cut down on fat, also more muscle = more calories burnt at rest

Was 300 now 170. 6’1. Cut now, you will be glad you did. Do 1,200 a day if you want to be fast. 1,500 if you want to be moderate.

Bulk because you need to have muscle before you cut. Otherwise it’s not really “cutting” it’s just getting skinny

That’s why I’m saying maintain. He’s got all the protein he needs in his gut. Just maintain and turn that fat into muscle

Nah when I lost major weight I just shredded (cutting but only eating protein) and I gained muscle while losing fat.
