Big difference between just being progressive and advocating for beneficial policies and being a socialist And no Independent option? Centrist is center-aisle. There are moderate republicans and democrats but you don’t say that either .-. Like what’s the difference between center and centrist here?

I mean there’s only 5 options to put in a poll, they can’t cover everything. Also “Independent” is not a stance. Independents still have to fall somewhere on the political spectrum.

What? Centrist is smack in the middle of the conservative and liberal gradient, yeah (there are a few differing definitions though)? He didn't put that, but he put center-liberal (left) and center-right (though I suppose "center-left/ right leaning" may have been better).
