Should I? Basically all I know is lobsters, lighthouses, foggy rocks, Allagash abduction stories, Augusta is a city, Portland is a city, Bar Harbor is a city I think I saw on t-shirts, Susan Collins, Graham Platner. That is the entirety of my Maine knowledge.

Its a really beautiful place for calmer beach vacations! If you book for summer during the winter it ends up cheaper than most comparable places in new england. As a local in MA Id go up to maine before going to cape cod 100% of the time
