I’m 24 and stayed on mostly bc it’s a nice low-stakes Internet forum. Much lower activation barrier than Reddit to make posts/comment. I don’t interact with my college yak anymore so it basically just functions as like a more laid back / interactive version of reddit for me, since im mostly just a watcher on that app. Kinda like twitter, but without the baggage of posting directly to ppl ik irl (and also bc i stopped using it once it became x toxic wasteland).
I feel it’s a whole other topic just because, as far as I can tell, this app is primarily for college students 18-25, the vibe of it overall is of that age range. So, a college student in their late 30’s or something wouldn’t really fit as well even though they’re also college students
