The most chosen answer yesterday, Bokassa I, was the only emperor of the Central African Empire (now the Central African Republic). He was exiled from the country, and upon his return was put on trial for treason, embezzlement, murder, cannibalism, and other charges. He was found guilty of 20 counts of murder and sentenced to death, but only served 6 years in prison before being released. He also claimed to be the 13th Apostle of Jesus, and had at least 50 children with his 17 wives.
