Answer: Top refers to the person who goes into the other person. Bottom is the person who receives that. Just feel like this is a common misconception. Too/bottom have nothing to do with dom/sub

I always thought it was the first one since for example lesbian sex would have one on top and the other on bottom without insertion during scissoring, and not all sex includes insertion. But I agree that dom/sub are totally separate from top/bottom
