I agree that graduating in 5 is nothing to be ashamed of but there is absolutely no way that’s average

I think it makes a ton of sense given how many people paused or went part time during covid especially. It’s also true that way more people than you’d expect transfer institutions and have to make up credits or do a 2 year associates and then transfer to a 4 year bachelors (I’m one of them). My experience was that because it’s seen as shameful it’s kind of invisible but once you bring up that you did it a ton of people are like “oh me too!”
