Depends on their reason for not approving. If there’s a sound logical reason, I’d be more likely to consider it than vibes-based reasons (because I would know their vibes better). In general, my family doesn’t get the final say. But I’d be open to hearing perspectives/opinions.

My parents accepted me being trans AND gay (I am extremely grateful btw) but that tells me if they ever disapprove of something in my life, theres probably a damn good reason lol
