Love screamo/death growl but I find it more of a upbeat driving thing

Lmao while it’s actively playing in my earbuds before bed is a great time to get the question

Growls in death-doom and funeral doom are relaxing to me, but the tempo of the music is also a factor. I can sleep to Saturnus, but not to Autopsy

I absolutely love metal and hard rock but too much screamo kinda puts me off. a little bit is fine, and it can even work really well in moderation, but it’s easy to overdo. i typically listen to this kinda stuff while walking, working out, etc. for studying i actually prefer music without vocals. instrumentals, lofi, that kinda stuff.

I like it but no. I find it satisfying and it tickles my brain but I also want to feel at least some the emotions that the song is trying to make me feel

i love it, i think. it’s hard to tell exactly what classifies as post-rock, but the moodier more instrumental stuff is definitely my vibe. not sure if TOOL is post-rock but some of their songs give me that vibe and I love TOOL.

I was thinking more GY!BE and Silver Mt. Zion for post-rock, but ig later Tool teeters into post territory. Still a great band tho
