My ex would actually yell at me over the smallest things, often things I had no control over. I remember in particular she was driving looking for parking on our anniversary and she gave me her iPhone to look for parking (didn’t have an iPhone then but even now I have no clue how to do that shit), well I wasn’t quick enough and she literally just snapped. Yelled at me yanked the phone out of my hand going crazy. That was deadass my first time using an iPhone ever.

Right but idk this poll didn’t specify and while damaging I wasn’t like hit or anything and I don’t want to minimize those who were in physically abusive relationships , I think my ex was emotionally abusive in a way he was not aware of his actions honestly

This is just one example of many ways she abused me. I’m pretty sure she exploited me for sex and she liked her cousin but everything is over thank god. I learned a lot and matured like 20 years cus of her.
