Feel every bit of the pain that it causes and sit with it. Let yourself fully feel it and remember that you only hurt as much as you loved them and as much as they meant to you. That is a beautiful thing that is worth experiencing even though it can be so painful that it’s hard to breath. Mourn with others that cared about them like you did and support each other. Grief heals when you fully understand the whole situation and realize the beauty that the persons life held while they were here.
