You can eat St. Louis food in areas other than just St. Louis. I was in Florida last week and they had St. Louis Style Ribs

Ted Drewes Frozen Custard in St. Louis was the original frozen custard concrete place. They actually did the upside down ice cream thing before Dairy Queen did. And man you have to try gooey butter cake sometime. It’s incredible

A style isn’t the same as actually inventing the food. Pizza and ribs are not from St. Louis, and I would bet the vast majority of people have never had whatever St. Louis pizza is, and probably have never heard of it. St. Louis is not a city known for food.

I never said pizza and ribs were invented in St. Louis. I said everything in my poll is a St. Louis original. So yes, St. Louis Style Ribs were invented in St. Louis. Shocker
