Has been for a long time. Evangelicals, radical Christians and the like, have been slowly corroding sanity and fabric of America for well over a century. We're just see it more prominently because they've finally gained prominent, widely influential positions of power now.

As a Hindu, I don’t think there’s any threat to with Christian values within the US. Not sure why people believe this?

Christian extremists run the MAGA party and use their extremist conservative beliefs to justify supporting and enacting genocides, protecting predators, dismantling education, degrading women, etc, etc, etc. people dont 'belive this', its true.

Interesting, I’ve had completely opposite experiences with them, and I’m a Democrat, everyone’s got their own lived experience’s I guess
