This baffles me every year bc I dont, and havent ever, known a single person who actually celebrates on the 4th. We celebrate whatever day our local fireworks are and even then its usually town hosted/public events nothing to be invited to or host

I think its really beautiful that the whole community gathers to celebrate together rather than keeping in and separated
