Yesterday’s question was the first in which only 1 person got it correct (the other vote for thigmonasty is myself). The other 4 words were all created by me from various root words, and have no actual meaning.

I figured a lot of people would get thrown off, but I thought some people might know it from a biology class or something. I probably also would have missed it, but apparently “thigmo-” means touch, and “-nasty” means to press. I don’t know of any words outside of biology/botany that use either of those roots.
