He is not a disease, I’m not just using that word as an insult. America encourages men like him to exist. Men who take what they want, men who would happily screw over their friends and family if it means a speck of power. A man like him becoming president was guaranteed to happen sooner or later. It fills me with great concern to see people acting as if him dying means it’s over.

Once again, he is certainly a create of the system, but his rise was NOT inevitable. Many republicans in 2015-2016 were trying to move closer to the center and appeal to a wider range of non-white voters

It just so happened that the guy who won the republican nominee decided to squeeze an election out of disgruntled white voters, and the democratic nominee was a controversial candidate
