I didn’t say they weren’t, just that we are too. And as with any economic superpower, it’s good to have friends that care as a little for human life as you do.

Agree. Israel is an illegitimate state with a bloodthirsty government and I hate that we are so beholden to them… but to say they don’t throw their weight around and regularly effect the US’ foreign policy and actions would be completely inaccurate. Problematic =/= useless, they just use their powers for evil.
