Assuming you’re not disabled, would you still use the disabled bathroom if every other stall is occupied and you desperately need to go?

Disabled stalls aren’t exclusively reserved for the disabled, they just get first dibs

I always use the handicapped stall if it’s open

The stall is accessible, not only for disabled people, this logic applies to elevators, ramps, accessible door buttons etc. the feature is a public facility to provide aid, its courteous to leave it open sure but me and the other disabled people I know do not ever care abt the stall being occupied

I always use it, they should just make all the stalls more spacious

Yeah but what if you use a disabled stall and there’s a disabled guy waiting on it and you just walk out and he just stares at you (hypothetically speaking of course)

That’s too bad because I was the first. Also, not every disability is visible so no one can really tell if someone using the stall is disabled anyway

That type of disability is for people with mobility issues though which is pretty easy to see (wheelchair, crutches, prosthesis, etc)

There’s a lot of other disabilities involving the bathroom that you might not see

I don’t think having an extra two feet of space would help any of those disabilities
