Also if you don’t know what I mean by “traditionally” I just mean not digitally, like with pencils, paint, ink, etc

I feel like there’s pros and cons right? Cause as an artist myself, I know that traditional art is expensive and you gotta put the finished product somewhere. Digital art is cool though because I can make custom gifs and discord emojis at least

I’m also an artist! I’m drawing something for someone and the thought occurred to me that there’s a chance the recipient might feel differently if it was made traditionally rather than digitally, so I posted this out of curiosity. I could see though how someone would prefer traditional, especially with the prevalence of ai along with the kind of oversaturation of digital art there’s been in the market. Traditional art tends to feel like a breath of fresh air and I could understand how someone-

-might feel like it’s more heartfelt since it’s fully physical and was made fully by hand with no digital tools. Regardless, my best art is made digitally since its flexibility makes me feel free to experiment in ways I’d be too nervous to try traditionally, so I’m not gonna change just because some people feel it’d be better traditional lol. Still was curious though
