
The problem with “Yes but only for the worst crimes” is it effectively becomes a yes because we can never guarantee that the guidelines on what constitutes one of those crimes aren’t bent to subject others to it as well. Also my biggest problem with yes in general is how our justice system isn’t perfect, or even close to it. There are far too many wrongfully sentenced for us to have an irreversible punishment. The satisfaction of justice is not worth innocent lives taken.
I wanna say yes, for awful people like Tanner Horner BUT then again, for people like him-I think death is just an easy way out. I heard that a lot of inmates on death row are put on suicide watch. They probably think it’s better than rotting in a prison for who knows how long. Only issue would be, what about those who are wrongfully sentenced? Aside from that, all the creeps/gross people I couldn’t care for if you paid me
