How much of your childhood were child-proof medicine bottle caps you-proof? (In this case I'm counting childhood as <13) (Also the "only until I learned how to read" option is referring to being able to read the instructions on how to open it on the cap)

Until I learned how to read except I was an incredibly advanced child and I was reading chapter books by 3/4

I guess I just never cared/needed to learn. My parents just hid away the medicine bottles and I always just asked my mom when I needed something. Also what is considered childhood? Till teen years or till 18years old?

When I was very young I ate like half a bottle of flintstone gummies because they tasted good (I dont remember this) so clearly I knew how to open the “childproof” cap before I even retained memories lol

Did your middle school finish at 7th grade? As far as I’m aware you finish 8th grade at 13-14 and that’s the last year of my middle school and most other people I know, but I know other areas can be slightly different. Also they said they knew by the time middle school started, not by the time it ended and for me middle school started at 6th grade where everyone was 11-12, so if their middle school also started at 6th grade it may have been when they were 12 in which case the whole childhood-

-option would be correct, but if it was 11 then the almost whole childhood option would be correct. If their middle school started in 5th or 7th grade though, then that changes things, so based on the metric of childhood counting as under 13, we don’t know if they were in that age group or not

Exactly... even under the different systems you mentioned middle school is ending at 13-14 meaning when you start is before that, aka <13, if they knew 'by middle school' its when they started so it would be before

Personally Id say that counts as most of it either way, if youre double digits and the cap is 13 its a minority of the years was the point I was trying to make in relation to the poll so ig I shouldve just said that in the first place mb
