america is actually so goated, all of these flavors have been incorporated in many american dishes (burrito made in california, pizza, general tso’s chicken in nyc)

I’d say American food is more diverse. And ugh soul food is so comfortingggg. But I can mess UP some pad Thai😋

I voted asian that's what I actually prefer but I might realistically choose american just bc it would be more convenient. You're never far from affordable american food in the US whereas you definitely can be far from affordable asian food

But this poll is all the Americanized versions or inventions of the source they’re derived. So like chicken Parmesan isn’t really a meal served in Italy, it’s more Italian-American. But that will count as Italian in this poll… but I get what you mean by basically taking something and tweaking it as an American version.
