Why not a partial agree? I don’t think all kinds of AI research should be halted, it has genuinely useful applications for data analysis, I do think generative AI is really bad for society and that should be halted though Having two agreed and one disagree also makes it look like more people are disagreeing than agreeing even though the opposite is the case

I don’t think AI research poses a threat, although we may be considering different things research. We’re already at a point where AI has already taken root in places where it is threatening, whether or not it continues to be improved. The things that are still being researched are the things that are actually helpful. The stuff that got done first was the stuff that made the fastest cash.
