I have a few close friends with partners. Most of their partners are really cool and wonderful people, but one of my close friends is dating a racist (who by the way is racist against his own race and mine) and holds tons of very problematic views. I'm not sure why they're together, and it's made me question some of my friend's views

They were together for like 4 years and the entire time she was saying the equivalent of “I’m a lesbian but he’s the exception”. Then she broke up with him so she could go experiment with girls, but lowkey they were still emotionally entangled and she wanted to still keep him around. And ofc he couldn’t resist her wanting to be around him and now fast forward a few months and they’re in a stereotypical situationship.

I sympathize because I know what being in that emotional situation is like, but from the outside looking in what she’s doing is not ok right now.

That's a tough situation. I'm not queer so it's not my place to speak, but I can totally see where you're coming from and I appreciate the explanation! I agree this doesn't sound good for either of them

I’m lowkey in the same situation with my girlfriend right now (seeing that happen kind of broke the dam on my own bi frustration) but I haven’t broken up with her and I’m sure as hell not fucking other people.
