It’s a nice little town, I like it here. It’s not what you expect from a two college town, especially since they’re pretty big colleges as far as Arkansas goes. On the one hand we don’t have typical fun things like a movie theater, we have to drive almost an hour away for that, but we have a really pretty lake and a country dance club that lets people in for free every Friday. And tbh an hour long roadtrip to the movie theater with the boys is a vibe anyways.
There’s also a wealthy older gentlemen whose late wife was a professor or something I think, and he’s very friendly and host Bible studies at his house for college students, and his living room is set up like a 1950s diner with a working glass coke bottle machine, jukebox, and tons of old Coca Cola, local college, and classic movie memorabilia, but also a gigantic flat screen tv lol
Thank you so much for your take! I'm glad you like it here and it sounds like an interesting place. I always like visiting new places especially places lesser known so I'll add them to my travel plans in the future. I love nature Also, I feel you on long drives! As long as it isn't too long, it can be really nice to enjoy a good drive
