I think a preference is fine but an outright ban on dating outside of one race is racist.

I think some people either have a type that they’re attracted to, or base it on shared culture/experience. But when u look down on other races or think one’s superior there’s racism

Probably the most true answer. Especially since, expectedly, a racist probably wouldn't date someone of the race they hate.
