yeah why not, it’s super low stakes. as long as you don’t stretch it, piercings are so impermanent. just take the jewelry out if you don’t like it. you may have a little tiny hole left behind but 🤷‍♀️ i got my septum pierced like 10 years ago (non-trad student here) and while i don’t really wear it anymore i am glad i did it and enjoyed it while it was my thing
