Lots of trans men exist who get periods and trans women don’t get periods

So no it’s not just women who get them and on top of that, not all women get them

Actually, I also just realized, menopausal women, women with hysterectomies, and probably plenty other cis women don’t get periods. Are they not women?

Theres a big difference trans women/men and a woman. Its just derogatory reducing women to “period havers”

Trans women and cis women are just two categories of woman. They are both two different types of women. “Period havers” does not reduce women to some derogatory category, it simply describes a biological process. I myself am a non binary person who gets periods. I am not a woman. Periods are just a function of the female reproductive system, they do not define a whole person and they certainly do not define their gender.

Oops, second sentence should’ve just been “they are both women”

And again, what about cis women who don’t get periods? By losing their ability to menstruate, do they revoke their womanhood?

I feel like that’s almost impossible to do— I’ve been using a cup for three years now, it’s never been close to spilling anywhere it shouldn’t! Try it out
