How is it only one, do yall now know how straws are made? This isn't an optimization puzzle of trying to find the least moves to accomplish a task, this is real life, straws are made in one super long tube and then cut on both sides.

disregarding the jokes, how would that process mean it was two holes? By that logic I would say 0 before 2, since no holes were ever actually punched into the material
