Wdym “guys”? The leak was only of the apps users, so only women. Whatever they were saying about guys is still completely invisible to us so the leak changed nothing as to that

Depends whether “guys” means the women using the app, or the dudes that women were already revealing/sharing info about on the app

Yeah same. I mean, it just ended up being a place where women doxed men so I’m pretty low on sympathy when the tables get turned.

That’s quite a thing to assume. I haven’t heard any reason to even remotely suspect that. As I understand it, the only thing leaked was the verification info that women provided when making their accounts (so, before they ever had the chance to post anything). That was apparently stored insecurely on a url, but I can’t imagine why their subsequent contributions would be stored the in the same place or the same way

Well there is an ABC news article where it says tea app DMs were leaked. I tried to post the link to it but it got deleted for some reason
