Teaching is honestly so wonderful despite the few students you’ll get who simply just don’t care! If you value education and imparting knowledge, I’d absolutely recommend it!

do you have any kind of teaching certification? you can’t usually just become a teacher with no relevant degree or certs

If its something you think you could excel at and actually care about then why not? Certification can be a little difficult not pursuing the degree just because you need to nav on your own and certain states require a masters at some point but if youre willing to shoulder all that I think the emotional and moral fulfillment bridges the kinda weak pay

by “can’t” i mean that you literally legally cannot if you try to work at a public school and you’re not very likely to get hired even at a private school (unless they’re really desperate i guess)

fair, i was moreso just pointing out that it’s kind of a process so if you’re just wanting a job to hold you over immediately post-grad until you can get something else then it might be tough to just jump into depending on your location

that said if you’re locked in and you’re okay with the associated costs and whatnot as well as all the things that kinda suck about being a teacher (especially a new, inexperienced teacher) then it could be a good option. i would def think hard about it though—there’s a reason that like a third of teachers quit within 5 years
