Starting with Chase is by far the most user friendly way to start. If you have no credit, open a Chase checking account, and follow the steps online to raise your approval odds for the Chase Freedom Rise. Be patient, and you’ll be off to the races soon

I like my citi card (it took me from 699 to 747 credit too!)🥲 only downside is the pending charges so you can’t pay it off right away

I opened a checking which began my relationship with them, they offered me the freedom unlimited on the spot there. I now have the saph preferred, it’s all about building a relationship. Chase is really good for starters though
