I have to pay my closed credit card account or make payment arrangements by next month to avoid the possibility of getting sue. I’m unemployed with no job prospects. And few people who I feel comfortable asking for the money. Why me?

So get sued. It’ll cost them thousands. You don’t have a job to garnish wages. They’re screwed not you.
