I got around 3k stashed in the S&P500, but I’m facing around 18k in college loans, can’t see to get any kind of well enough paying job, is there any ways I could actively work towards gaining money to pay off my principal while I wait for a job?

Are the loans building interest and is the interest rate higher than the average s&p return? If so, I personally would just pay down the loans with that money.
