say you make $15 an hour and want a new pair of jeans that are $75. tell yourself “would i work UNPAID for 5 hours to get these jeans?”

also put locks on your cards and only unlock them for absolute necessities

Just budget, if you wanna buy something instead of impulsively buying it set money aside every paycheque. Also once you start growing your savings it’ll become addicting & your spending will decrease. Consume more videos on financial literacy & saving. Also just remind yourself why you want to grow your savings. Good luck!
