Between 5-10 mil. In this range you can reasonably be jobless from birth to old age as long as you keep expenses down and don’t live somewhere high cost. If you’re at max withdrawing 3% of 5mil, with the vast majority still invested, your entire life you should never run out of cash. Thats 150k a year

Depends on age. I think having 500K at 20 makes you rich. I’d say whatever amount of money puts you in the .5-1% of any age group. So as you get older the number goes up. 1 million at 60 is nothing. Especially when WE are 60. I’d assume we will need 5-10 million at retirement
