Out of college, no car, only making $17/hr, paying $600 rent. Taking uber is roughly $350 a week. Any tips on making my life easier?

See maybe if you can car pool or something? If you can even save a little bit car pooling with someone from your work or friends I feel like it’s worth it. make sure they feel valued and paid for that’s also lower than 350 a week. You can use that savings for a car later, I feel like you should be able to use that money to either pay off debt or get a used car.

If you’re working full time at $17/hr, thats gotta be like $2300-2400ish/month after tax… but you’re spending 1400/month on uber and 600 on rent. Why are you spending so much on ubers? Can you find a closer job, use public transportation, walk, ride a bike, etc?

Create an online side hustle and buy a car. Easier said than done tbh

With my current budget, buying a used car isn't realistic right now, and I t feels like a burden to ask my coworkers for rides since they live on the other side of the city.

The bus system was made for people like you. Graduated from college and only making $17/hr? Seems like you’ve made some bad choices.
