Not finance related but it’s kinda depending how you look at it I tore a muscle in my bicep while at work and the doctor refused me of workers comp. My supervisor is known to ignore restrictions and I can’t use my arm for anything. Kinda messed up tbh

Did you wait to report it?

You should still find a way to report this. Maybe your dr office can help?

appeal the refusal to the workers comp commission and report the supervisor to osha. waiting to report the injury could put you in a bad situation but you could always try. and if your supervisor is ignoring restrictions and causing injuries thats a major problem

This does not make sense / you’re being misled. Your doctor doesn’t file workers comp, you do. Sounds like you reported it to your employer and you documented the injury with a doc - hopefully it’s your doc and not the company’s doc. Next you just file with your state board. It’s admin and an investigation. But I’d also get a lawyer if I were you.

I did. They’re making me work through it tho. Kinda shitty but workers comp is only paying 60%

I reported it today with HR. But she’s gonna make me work still. Not super duty shit that I’ve been doing just putting things in boxes and whatnot
