Not always tbh. Often yes but my sister had a pair where one was miserable because of the other one’s constant humping. The annoying one died and the remaining one lived for almost 4 years solo to where he was an insane age for a guinea pig.

I think mine was like 4 or 5 when he died. Idk she begged for both at the pet store the day we bought the first one. I sat for 2 days hearing her talk about it so I caved and went back today while she was at her dad’s. They were happy to see each other again 🤷‍♀️

Some def thrive together! My sister’s was just so happy alone. He was 10 when he died

Oh yes. They were waiting for it to die so my stepmom could turn its room into a reading room. It lived, in everyone’s words, way too long.

This is so funny. My mom was also waiting for our last guinea pig to die to turn its room into a movie room😂 he was eight years old when he passed
