It really irks me when people are like “if you let your cat outside, you’re a bad cat owner” like I agree if you don’t supervise the cat, but they are animals, they wanna be in the grass and look at the bugs and shit. But yeah, obviously I’m not gonna let shit happen to him, I keep an eye on him so he won’t go in the street or be preyed upon by bigger animals

I also never take him outside at night, because he’s a black cat so he’d be impossible to see, plus since they’re nocturnal he’s a lot less likely to run off in the daylight, he just walks around and smells and looks at stuff. My other cat simply shows no desire to go outside, she likes it in the house.
