Do its horns look like that bc they molted in the fall or is that a different species of deer than I’m used to?

I see deer all the time whenever I’m on campus (or up in the hills for that matter but specifically in town). Unfortunately all of them have Lyme disease because they don’t have any natural predators here anymore.

Think that’s a slightly different deer then iirc (I’m used to the NE) but that might also be post molt anyways I’m not the most knowledgeable but that’s what I vaguely recall
