Agreed, I got mine for closer to three, but the thing is literally magic. I’m hoping to go out tonight! I shoot DSO though.

Nice nice. I shoot dso too but it’s pretty rare I get good enough seeing to not be undersampled. That and I’m working on putting together a camera upgrade so it’s been discouraging to go out with my old camera that isn’t very good.

Yeah, I live up in New England, so seeing is just a mess. That said I still get some awesome shots.

He had fake beef with a photographer that took cool photos of the moon, he mentions it in his podcast Distractible a few years back.

Yeah, the ARP catalog is fun. Still working on really punching above my weight with my setup, honestly I think it’s my processing that needs the most work. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah processing is definitely my weakest skill for this. But that’s really good those colors look really clean

Yeah, I’m really really good at photoshop, so color isn’t a problem, it’s more pulling out and accentuating detail that’s a bit of a hit or a miss. That and my guiding leaves something to be desired. Last few nights I’ve setup, I’ve had guiding errors in excess of 1.0 which is annoying.
