any tips if i’m considering bringing my monstera out? ik the basic of slowly introducing it to the outdoors in increasing increments over a span of some days so it doesnt get stressed by the sudden influx of sun, at least 😅 mine just put out a big ol leaf and i’d like to nurture that summer growth w/ a little fresh air

i didnt introduce mine i just threw it outside! i made sure though to put it somewhere that is always shaded, its in a corner that is always covered from direct light besides a little morning light. just anywhere that does not have direct sunlight especially in the afternoon!

I repotted and put mine outside at the end of may and it loooves the outside it’s been shooting out new leaves like crazy. But what op said, make sure it’s always shaded and be careful since it is now the middle of summer and you have a brand new leaf. The new leaves on mine are crazy healthy but the older leaves did get a bit shocked and now they’re yellow and crispy. But that might just happen if yours has always been an inside plant. Oh and well draining soil!!!
