what is wrong with my monstera? i think it was getting too much light so i moved it, but it still looks sick. I’ve had to cut off so many leaves.

Check if it smells yucky. If it smells yucky it means rot. Never take off more than 1/3 of your plant. 👍

Mine always got scale and I missed it for a while. Also make sure it isn’t root bound bc the stem looks decent sized

It kinda looks like too much water, im not too sure what the roots are looking like like but it seems to me like the pot it’s in might be too big for the size of the roots, the bigger the plant the less often it needs to be watered(unless you can noticeably tell she’s thirsty)

I would double check for thrips, that’s exactly how my plants were looking like just last week when I found them. They are really hard to spot unless yk what you’re looking for

Check for thrips!!!! Do you see small (like less than a cm) black specs on the back of the leaves on your plants? That when you touch them they move? That’s thrips — check every nook, cranny, and leaf. They’re the worst pests! Just got them for the first time a few weeks ago, and it looked like this

I checked yesterday and didn’t find anything, there were some very small white specks on the front of the leaves but they didn’t move
