My tomatoes keep looking like this. Any tips to keep the plants from doing this? It has happened multiple years in a row. The plants are in a new spot this year and I have new varieties. Any advice is appreciated!!

Well I can see in the background there that you’ve definitely got some blight on the leaves so this could be blight? Have you ruled out that possibility?

If it is blight you could get a fungal spray for the tomatoes which would work but is not always necessary. If the blight hasn’t completely taken over you can just pluck any and all affected leaves as they appear so that the fungus doesn’t spread

Okay thank you. So the plant is large (it’s a brandywine). Do you think fungal spray would be better then? I believe you are right, the plants are really matching the description of blight

Generally you don’t need to use fungal spray. It’ll probably work (although fungal sprays are mostly a preventative measure) but if you’d rather not use one youd likely be able to get away with not using one. I like the info on this resource: https://extension.umn.edu/disease-management/early-blight-tomato-and-potato
