Terracotta: slow watering globes ( I have some shaped like mushrooms), or something to check the soil with( will turn dark when soil is still wet). Ceramic: pot pals (tiny animals or figures that hang on the edge of your pots for decoration (I have some shaped like snakes and bunnies).

Something terracotta to let you know if the soil is wet. Once I made a bunch of tiny velociraptors to stick in the dirt
