You can try to chop the plant to promote new growth but since we’re going into the winter season I think the growth will be slower

It's dead sorry. Also don't leave moisture meters in the plant it breaks the meter eventually. Unless you don't care.

If they have seeds you can try to germinate them. Depending on where you live though they can't go outside and may not do well inside either they need lots and lots of sun and warm weather.
