Unfortunately this happened a lot with the white parts on a Monstera Thai. Give the plant more sunlight (indirect) and when the brown stops spreading cut or tear that part off. This happens because the white parts don’t photosynthesis. So if the plants not getting enough light it tries to remove the dead weight so to speak.
