What’s the white thing on my plant? I’ve seen a few small specks that are white on the underside of the leaves is it something I should be worried about? Should I just pick them off or something else

it kind of looks like a mealy bug to me. if it is, i always wipe the leaves down and then treat the plant with captain jacks. typically they don’t come back

it’s an organic brand of pesticide spray. you can find it at lowes or home depot! i always keep a bottle handy in case i see some unwanted visitors on my plants.

Thank you! Is there anything specific I should use to wipe down the petals or would just like a moist q-tip be fine

i use an old sock haha but yeah a q-tip, microfiber cloth, paper towel, anything that won’t be abrasive on the leaves. i wipe my plants down with a super watered down neem oil solution, but just plain water will do as well!

and then after treatment, just watch the plant carefully for a week or two to see if any visitors come back and repeat the process if u see them again! nothing to panic about, just get them off as soon as you can and keep that plant away from others for a bit.
