
1- remove the foil/paper wrap so it can drain properly! 2- keep it in bright indirect light (it can see the sun but the sun can’t see it) and try to keep it as cool as possible (they like mid 60s). 3- only water when about the top inch is dry (for most people their finger tip to first joint). 4- when the bloom starts to fade, deadhead them (trim it) 5- don’t repot it until it enters dormancy, usually late summer (the leaves will start to die back). 6- when you repot it give it a larger container
with a well draining soil mix. Bulb plants don’t do well with water logging lol 7- is you can plant it outside that’s best, but obviously we aren’t home owners so pot is fine 8- trim dead roots from the bulb when you repot 9- separate any offshoots if you want to keep them 10- fertilize it in later winter/early spring during its growth phase to encourage blooms next year!
